We prefer that you go barefoot or wear gripper socks. The mat is designed to massage your feet. Also, the mat can get slippery if you are wearing regular socks. That being said, some people prefer wearing shoes and that is fine only if you bring the shoes into the studio and don’t wear them from outside.

We recommend that you start with the Bounce Intro. That will give you an idea of what you need to do while bouncing to get the best cardio workout that you can. If you choose a more advanced class, just know that it may be more challenging than you anticipated.
Yes, you will get worked out. I do the instructional part of it all while bouncing to get your heart rate up and to give tips on how to do some basic moves smoothly.
The Bellicon has bungees that hold up to 430 pounds. As long as you are at that weight or below, you are not too heavy to bounce.
You sure can. We have trampolines with a bar so you will feel secure when you are bouncing. We call that the insurance bar. Once you start bouncing on a regular basis, your balance will improve.
Bouncing will not hurt or affect you new joint negatively. You will be able to bounce like a kid since the mat is designed to absorb all of the shock and not your joints.

There are many health benefits with rebounding/bouncing. Boosting your immune system is one of the best benefits. The lymph system bathes every cell, carrying nutrients to the cell and waste products away. Yet, the lymph is totally dependent on physical exercise to move. Without adequate movement, the cells are left stewing in their own waste products and starving for nutrients, a situation that contributes to arthritis, cancer and other degenerative diseases. Bouncing on a mini-trampoline s reported to increase lymph flow by 15 to 30 times.
